Darkfever
Author: Karen M. Moning
Publisher: Delacorte Press
Genre: Urban Fantasy
MacKayla Lane’s life is good. She has great friends, a decent job, and a car that breaks down only every other week or so. In other words, she’s your perfectly ordinary twenty-first-century woman. Or so she thinks…until something extraordinary happens. When her sister is murdered, leaving a single clue to her death–a cryptic message on Mac’s cell phone–Mac journeys to Ireland in search of answers. The quest to find her sister’s killer draws her into a shadowy realm where nothing is as it seems, where good and evil wear the same treacherously seductive mask. She is soon faced with an even greater challenge: staying alive long enough to learn how to handle a power she had no idea she possessed–a gift that allows her to see beyond the world of man, into the dangerous realm of the Fae…. As Mac delves deeper into the mystery of her sister’s death, her every move is shadowed by the dark, mysterious Jericho, a man with no past and only mockery for a future. As she begins to close in on the truth, the ruthless Vlane–an alpha Fae who makes sex an addiction for human women–closes in on her. And as the boundary between worlds begins to crumble, Mac’s true mission becomes clear: find the elusive Sinsar Dubh before someone else claims the all-powerful Dark Book–because whoever gets to it first holds nothing less than complete control of the very fabric of both worlds in their hands

Hi! For those new to this blog, let me give you a quick tour. The home page is a one stop place for members to find out what books we are reading in each of the five categories each month. Any questions you might have about them, feel free to ask in the comments sections. You'll also find the monthly polls in the right hand column where we vote on what we'll be reading next. Each category has its own page. I ask that any comments you have get put on the respective page *smiles*. Discussions of the books will actually be held as a month long event on the clubs Facebook page. If you have a suggestion of something you'd like to see there, please feel free to share it. Make sure you check by regularly because you'll never know what you might find. Enjoy the blog and hope to see you on our Facebook group as well!
This is cool! Will the books change after everyone has read them? I have all the fever books, but I have been so caught up in reviewing others that I haven't read them yet! Is this where everyone will be discussing them?

This is the main page that shows what we're reading for the month. I broke it down to each book with the blurb and links to buy them. On the spolier page is where you can talk about each book - especially those things you can't speak openly on the FB page :)
ReplyDeleteOh! Thanks for explaining!
